9/11 Changed Us

I think 9/11 is very relevant to our lives. Even though we were young and not really understanding what happened right at the moment of time, as we have grown to understand more it has made more since of what happened but not really why it happened. This has changed us people because New York was known for these Twin Towers, and as you go to Massachusetts you don't see the two tallest buildings anymore. This changed us because instead of being mad and upset about it happening why not go more in depth and try and figure out why so many countries or people hate America. Also another thing that has changed is airports. They have changed because now a days you cant say goodbye to your family at the boarding gate, and you cant bring regular bottles of shampoo and deoderant and things like that because you can be hiding things inside of them. So you have to have a certain weight limit for the things you bring on the plane. This is how 9/11 changed us.

  1. I agree, I think a lot changed after 9/11. Not only did the airport regulations change, but the world changed as well. We became a lot more worried about terrorists, and became more involved in international affairs. One of the worst things that might have happened because of 9/11 is the increase in the discrimination of the muslim people. Because of 9/11, more and more muslim religions are now getting discriminated because people associate the religion with terrorism. It is important to change our mindset to not only know if the country made the right change after 9/11, but if we are also treating people fairly.
