Let me know what you think about this video. I think it outlines how magazines have the power of photoshop and is able to make people believe that this is the ideal version of a women, even though it is computer generated.
I think it's interesting that society is so focused on trying to make everything beautiful. No matter what it is, whether it's women, men, or even animals, society will try to make everything perfect in advertisements with photoshop. This probably sets a bad example for young children, telling them that they HAVE to be beautiful in order to be accepted, and only makes them reach for impossible standards of beauty.
I think it is bad how they portray certain people and it might make the person that is reading this magazine uncomfortable and feel bad about themselves or how on magazines they tell lies about celebrities to the world and it makes them look bad now most of the people in the world are judging them on something that could not even be true. This is why all this Photoshopping stuff is bad
I believe photoshopping can be a terrible thing for some people and industries like this one. Most people look at pictures like this and think why they cannot be beautiful like in the pictures they see In magazines and online. I seen a girl on instagram photoshop her picture so much to make herself look better because she believed she looked what society calls ugly. Everyone is beautiful in there own way even if nobody tells you that you are.
